With March here and spring looking like it might be just around the corner (fingers crossed!) we're busy with Mother's Day and Easter.

So where did Mother's Day originate from?

Mothering Sunday is actually a Christian holiday which is celebrated by Catholics and Protestants in parts of Europe.  It is celebrated on the fourth Sunday in Lent and it because a tradition and an occasion to honour the mothers of children and giving them presents.  It's now widely known as Mother's Day.
